Lisa is the principle Osteopath at South Yarra Osteopathic Clinic and is well regarded amongst health professionals, fitness professionals and many patients because of her professional and caring nature.

She prides herself on not just providing a thorough treatment addressing the symptoms, but also uncovering the cause. Identifying the cause of the complaint is pivotal for recovery. Lisa firmly believes education is the key to better health so time is spent educating in language that you understand. She loves the challenge of long standing complaints. The lower back and pelvis are areas of particular interest.

Treatments are tailored with a combination of direct techniques (massage, manipulations, stretching) combined with gentler techniques to achieve effective treatment. She is experienced in treating children (aged 3 and more) up to adults, sports people to desk workers. She uses a biomechanical evidence based approach to diagnosis and treatment.

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Melbourne, Lisa continued her interest in health sciences and commenced a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Osteopathy at RMIT University. Osteopathy was a natural progression for Lisa given her respect and fascination for the human body and its resiliency.

Lisa is available Monday and Wednesday.

Daniela Blancato

Daniela Blancato Camberwell Osteopath

Daniela Blancato Osteopath graduated with a Bachelor of Heath Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy), from RMIT University. Health care has always been a career that Daniela was drawn to. Osteopathy was the perfect fit, combining her love of human anatomy and the ability to care for others.

She prides herself on her warm and compassionate approach to patient care. She strongly believes in the power of a holistic approach to treatment. This involves not only assessing the patient’s pain from a biomechanical perspective, but also exploring the patient’s habits, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing.

Empowerment is the philosophy that Daniela utilises to help patients through their recovery journey. Consequently, patient education a core part of treatment. This is vital for preventative treatment. Furthermore, it enables her patients to understand the reasons they are experiencing pain. She forms individualised management plans to help patients achieve their health goals.

She is proficient in any treating all musculoskeletal complaints. However, her interests are headaches, bursitis, neck, back, elbow and hip pain. She also loves working with the older generations.

In addition to hands-on osteopathic techniques, Daniela utilises myofascial dry needling, cupping, and shockwave therapy, depending on the patient’s needs and goals.

Daniela is also extremely passionate about lifelong learning. She recognises that osteopathy is an ever-evolving practice. Throughout her career she has been mentored by a wide range of osteopaths; exposing her to a variety of different treatment techniques and approaches. As a result, Daniela personalises her treatments to the individual.

Outside of the clinic, Daniela enjoys trying new cafés and restaurants, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

William Gunn Osteopath

William Gunn Camberwell Osteopath

William Gunn Camberwell Osteopath is an enthusiastic osteopath. He graduated from RMIT with a double bachelor’s degree of Health Sciences and Applied Sciences in Osteopathy.

Billy fell in love with osteopathy through his active and sporting life. With football and basketball being his two favourites, he developed an interest in how the body works. As a result this, with his natural empathetic nature and drive to help people, meant osteopathy was a natural fit.

The treatment of lower back and shoulder complaints are presentations that interest him. Such as sciatica, disc bulges and bursitis. Furthermore, he enjoys treating knee conditions. Such as meniscal injuries, ligament sprains, patella tracking complaints and osteoarthritis. Above all, he understands the need to uncover the cause of these complaints.

Billy will help his patients reach their health goals. He aims to understand the cause of their problem and address it. He may provide his patients with a thorough rehabilitation program to get them back into action.

Furthermore, dry needling and cupping may be provided in terms of treatment.

Billy is fully registered with AHPRA. Also, he is a member of Osteopathy Australia.

Christina Tziros

Christina Tziros Camberwell Osteopath

Christina Tziros Osteopath holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) from RMIT University. Her interest in Osteopathy began in her late teens having suffered from back and neck pain herself. Always having a keen interest in the human body she received osteopathic treatments that allowed her to understand and manage her pain. It was through her experience and interest in the anatomy and function of the human body that led her to the field of osteopathy.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages and treating a range of acute and chronic conditions. Christina has a special interest in back and neck pain, postural strains, headaches and migraines.

Christina’s professionalism and friendly nature enables her treat each individual in a unique manner, ensuring the best results for all her patients. She uses an array of hands on techniques and management strategies tailored to individuals’ needs. She has completed additional courses in myofascial dry needling, cupping and taping and frequently incorporates those skills within her treatment.

She takes great pride in seeing the positive effect osteopathy has on improving the health and wellbeing of her patients. Christina is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Osteopathy Australia.

Christina is fluent in Greek.

Caitlin Ellis

Caitlin Ellis Camberwell Osteopath

Caitlin Ellis Osteopath graduated from RMIT University and has spent the last few years working as an osteopath in both Brisbane and Melbourne.

Her passion for osteopathy began in high school after seeing and osteopath helped her recover from a chronic injury and enabled her to return to sport. In her practice Caitlin is passionate about getting to know her patients, finding the source of their pain and helping them build strength and get back to the things they love. She uses a solid biomechanical, postural, and activities-based lifestyle approach to help you get moving and stay moving without pain.

Caitlin enjoys treating all kinds of aches and pains and has a particular interest in treating conditions such as headaches, neck pain, jaw pain and sporting injuries. Caitlin also treats all ages ranging from children including babies to elderly and has been doing professional development around these life stages.

Outside the treatment room Caitlin loves baking, reading, running, trying out new restaurants and exploring Melbourne with her little pup Alfie.

Caitlin is fully registered with AHPRA. Also, she is a member of Osteopathy Australia.

Raya Anin Osteopath

Raya Anin Camberwell Osteopath

Raya Anin Osteopath completed a Masters of Osteopathy at RMIT University in 2006. Since then, she has worked in private practice, having spent some time in Bendigo, and also running her own clinic in Melbourne. She enjoys working with people of all ages, from babies through all stages of life and loves being able to guide and educate people through to health.

Raya looks at the body as a whole unit, taking into consideration your daily activities and postures as well as the immediate symptoms to assess and treat a complaint. She has a very hands-on approach to treatment using a variety of techniques such as massage, manipulation, indirect techniques and dry needling to get the best results. As such, she is comfortable in assessing all areas of pain including back pain, neck pain, shoulder and elbow pain, knee and foot pain. She is also an experienced cranial osteopath. Either treating a patient with only cranial techniques, or incorporating some of these techniques into a stronger, more direct treatment.

Having also completed a degree in Human Movement prior to studying Osteopathy, she has a greater understanding in pain arising from sport and biomechanical imbalances in activity and is comfortable in prescribing exercise programs to activate and strengthen your body.

Aside from private practice, Raya enjoys working as a clinical supervisor for the Victoria University Osteopathy program and, having recently completed her studies, is embarking on a new venture as an Animal Osteopath.
